I've noticed that sometimes you must put in the ID and password either
in all upper case or all lower case. Never found a pattern for it.

Subject: domain/user when I just want user

I have a user with a share set up on one of our lpars. When uses
Windows
Explorer to go to \\gdweb\gdi where gdi is the share name (not just a
directory but I did set up a share), he get's a log in window. He
enters
his user id and password but it won't go in. I verified that it is
right
- case and all. It changes his user name in the window from hisname to
windowsdomain/hisname. I know I've seen this before but I forget the
workaround.
