Hi,

I'd write a small UDF:

CREATE FUNCTION MySchema/MyUdF (
PARAddrId Integer )
RETURNS VARCHAR(1024)
LANGUAGE SQL
NOT DETERMINISTIC
READS SQL DATA
CALLED ON NULL INPUT
DISALLOW PARALLEL

BEGIN

DECLARE RETURNVAL VARCHAR(1024) NOT NULL DEFAULT ' ';

FOR CSRC1 AS C1 CURSOR
FOR SELECT AddrType
FROM TABLE1
WHERE AddrId = ParAddrId
DO SET RETURNVAL = RETURNVAL CONCAT ' ' CONCAT CSRC1.AddrType ;
END FOR ;

RETURN LTRIM (RETURNVAL);
END;

This function can be called as follows:

Select Distinct AddrId, MyUdf(AddrType) as Types
From Table1;

The result should be:
AddrId Types
1 Bill Ship Mail
2 Mail Ship
3 Bill

I am looking for a method in SQL to append a column from multiple rows into
a single column of a result set.

If I have a table with the following (simplified example):

AddrID AddrTyp
1 Bill
1 Ship
1 Mail
2 Ship
2 Mail
3 Bill

And want to see the following in an SQL result set:

1 Bill,Mail,Ship
2 Mail,Ship
3 Bill

Is this something that is possible in SQL?
