I am trying to go through the demo of creating my first EGL application but I can't find any of the EGL related areas. I ordered RDi SOA from the IBM Business Partner, I received a CD in the mail and a license key and installed it but no EGL. The packing clip and CDs just say Rational Developer for System i. How can I tell if they shipped me the correct version of RDi?

The "About" screen in RDi has this...

IBM Rational Developer for System i
5724-T82
5733-RDI
Licensed Materials - Property of IBM
5733-RDI is only RDi (5724-T82 is the passport advantage number for the same product). Your BP should have shipped you 5733-SOA (5724-T83), which includes RBD (Rational Business Developer). RDi and RBD together make up RDi SOA (RBD contains the EGL support).

Just to give you a rough size check, unpacked RDi is two disks, a little under 1GB, while RBD is eight disks and about 3.5GB.
