Do you have this set up as the console inside the partition (sst)? If you
just changed this, do you have autoconfig on?

Subject: Can't get a signon
I can't get a sign on screen on a partition but I can connect to it. When I
do an open terminal session on the HMC, it connects but I don't get a sign
on. It shows connected to 192.168.7.35 but says escape character is '^'.
CBWPING shows all the server applications are working.
Any suggestions?
