I know that, before I went off of iMUG's board, we were considering it. By "considering it" I mean trying to figure out how to integrate pSeries stuff with our current System i focus. For us I thought that starting with PASE/QShell stuff would be a good way to start.
TUG has a size advantage, unlike smaller groups like us, that may allow them to do this easier and better. OMNI is another one that comes to mind.
