Been awhile since I've been able to boot from a regular i5 tape. I always
seem to get that the device is only supported as an alternate installation
device and not an alternate IPL device.
I could understand that on the fiber tape drive with the SAN switch. But,
on the cable attached tape drive? Should have heard the IBMers arguing
back and forth on the conference call as to whether or not that was
supported as an alternate IPL device.
