I also wonder if they broke something somewhere in the last couple of
releases. I used to use it all the time with a variety of
directories, but lately it has been real cranky and I've often had to
resort to doing it "by hand" - couldn't isolate the problem enough to
report it - it was failing during the attempt to list the new directory.
