You have to stop thinking about ODPs with subsystems - they have nothing to do with each other, at least as far as we are concerned. Subsystems actually have a job associated with them - they have a special job type - look in WRKACTJOB and you will see them.

We absolutely have nothing to do with how subsystem jobs work - that is for the system to do.

Again - disconnect all your file processing from subsystems in your mind - they are completely unrelated.
