Subject: SQL Referential Integrity issue with a foreign key
I am trying to alter a sql table in which one of the fields is tied to
a
field in another file (which happens to be a DDS defined PF) I keep
getting an error that says the following:
Table HAZMFTCTL in DXGLIBX does not have a matching parent key.
Here is the code from STRSQL, if someone can provide some assistance I
would be most appreciative.
ALTER TABLE DXGLIBX/HAZMFTCTL ADD CONSTRAINT FORCONST FOREIGN KEY
(HAZDC) REFERENCES dxplibx/DORDIVSN (DDIVSN) ON DELETE NO ACTION
