You may want to take a look at 'Performance navigator" by Midrange
Performance Group... It is a fantastic monitoring tool for the iSeries
platform

All I use Nagios for with the i is to check that the telnet server is
still alive. There is an as400NagiosPlugin, but it does not meet our
security requirements, so I have not used it.
