The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Thanks Bryan,
It's not working for me though :
When I execute, I get :
EXECSQL 'SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL NO COMMIT';

Being new to REXX, I'd appreciate it if anyone could point out any
limitations or ameliorations to this code. For example, I can't get it
to do a CREATE TABLE AS ... because of WITH DATA followed by WITH NC.
Have you tried using a SET statement to control transaction isolation level instead of WITH NC?
For example:
address EXECSQL
EXECSQL 'COMMIT'
EXECSQL 'SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL NO COMMIT'
EXECSQL 'PREPARE inselect FROM :inselect'
EXECSQL 'DECLARE incursor SCROLL CURSOR FOR inselect'
EXECSQL 'OPEN incursor'
address COMMAND
