I seem always to do the cume first, then the groups - groups are based over cumes, for the most part, I believe. So they will further modify what the cumes put in.

Actually I sometimes think about putting them together in an image catalog - don't remember if that works. Then you run F7 to have the relationships checked out.

Others can speak better to this - it has been a while for me.
