hex 0d 0a are CRLF in ASCII, and are the right characters. But, you do
have to supply them in URL syntax (not with an x in front of them!)

In a URL, a hex code is %xx (replace xx with the hex value). So x'0d0a'
is actually %0d%0a in a URL. In CL, you might code it as follows:
