You need to be using the PDM option #1 ...work with libraries

This will present a list of libraries that you select.

Using option 12 ..work with members will present a panel of
all files.

At this point, enter a option 25 and press F13 which populates
the entire list of files with a 25.

Press enter and enter the search string.

The program will then search ALL files in that library for that
string.

I'm not aware of a way to do ALL libraries and ALL files
using this method.

Reading up on PDM would be a large help.

Vern, et al,

I also tried FNDSTRPDM... you can only search one file at a time? Not anything like a true global search function.
Again, where is this i5/OS equivalent of the Windoz global SEARCH function?

Thanks,

Dave
