The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Shannon,
You can do this easily with PDM.
WRKOBJPDM <Library>
(I usually subset at this point by physical files only)
Choose the file you want to search singly or in groups.
Use option 25 - Enter the string you want to search for.
On the Find String screen I use option 5 to display the physical file.

<plug> QuestView has not only a "scan" function (which can check the
entire record or individual fields), but a search-and-replace function,
and a "multi-scan" function that can search for different values in
different fields.</plug>
So far as I'm aware, DBU and WRKDBF also have at least some of these
capabilities.
Surely, you've got at least one of these database access utilities on
your system. Some installations have more than one.
