Look into the use of QMHCTLJL API. See the *PRTWRAP "Note:" at:

The QLOGOUTPUT setting apparently can not prevent *PRTWRAP, for which
the QMHCTLJL API is then mentioned. That API has a format CTLJ0100
wherein a /Member replace option/ exists; the digit zero results in an
effective *ADD\*APPEND instead of a clear\replace of the data when the
joblog details are written to the database file.

QJOBMSGQFL *PRTWRAP
