There is a program called STunnel* which I've used in the past in these sorts of situations. I don't know if it would run in PASE, I've used it in Linux.

STunnel acts as an SSL interpreter for non-SSL-aware applications, by accepting unencrypted TCP packets on a local port, encrypting them according to the SSL standard, and then forwarding them to the intended recipient.
