Ok - actually it is version 4 and I finally got a copy of the console
running. Sorry for the panic - first the upgrade to version 5 was
delayed because we were going to make the application change then the
new application took forever - this is actually a 2.5 year lag that I'm
dealing with......arg.......

Motivation
If a pretty poster and a cute saying are all it takes to motivate you,
you probably have a very easy job. The kind robots will be doing soon.

Subject: WAS 4.5 Administration
I almost hate to ask this question - I have an older WAS server that we
have not moved off of version 4.5. The application was supposed to be
replaced by another application about 12 months ago. So we have not
made any efforts to update or make changes. The project to replace this
application is way over budget and way behind but I have a pending
change coming that I'm concerned about.
I will be changing IP addresses on all of my IBM i servers in a few
weeks. With WAS 4.5 I am drawing a real blank about the configuration
and whether it has IP addresses or qualified names. I don't even have
WAS 4.5 installed on a windows machine to attempt to check. Any other
way to check the configuration on this? If changes are necessary that
could be problematic but I'm assuming that if I can find older 4.5 CD's
with the Windows code I might be able to start down that path........
My apologies for being sloppy, late, and uninformed........
