I can vouch for the quality and ease of use of these products. Several of my
clients have been using them for years.

One of the coolest ones is the Domino Report Server. Reports are generated
on the application software machine into a remote output queue on the Domino
box. The Domino Report Server software then reads that output queue, and
based on some rules, places the reports into various Domino databases for
the users to access.

If you are open to a commercial solution, we at RJS Software Systems have a
number of products , such as Report Splitter, Email Report Server, Batch
Report Server and various converters, that can facilitate this kind of
thing. Check out our site at http://www.rjssoftware.com or call us at
888.rjs.soft - you can ask for me or for sales - I'd have to send you over
there eventually, anyhow ;-)

Hello,

I have several reports that get dumped to outqs on the system. Some
are generated by third party programs and some are generated by wrkqry
queries.

Currently those reports are printed out and distributed.

Is there a way to get them to the IFS or something so that people can
access them when needed and we don't need to print them out and
distribute? If the email server was enabled on the iSeries, would it
be easy to automate the reports being emailed out?

The users don't have access to Operations Navigator, so pulling them
off that way is a route I am looking to avoid.

Any ideas or leads are appreciated.

Adam
