I was able to install iSeries Access on my home laptop running Vista
Home Premium. I didn't run into any issues, it works fine for me.

Have you tried setting the compatibility mode to 'run as administrator'?
I didn't have to do that on mine, but I have found that it is necessary
for other programs.

Subject: iSeries Access and Vista Home Premium

I know it's not supported by IBM, but other posts indicate some have
gotten it to work.
Now have an exec needing remote access and his shiny new laptop with
Vista Home Premium. I cannot see or touch the machine and need to talk
the pc admin who in turn will take user thru the setup.
We got the iSeries Access V5R4 loaded, plus latest service pack.
Defined connection to system.
But trying to start the emulator gives us a 'Write Access Error'.
Sorry not more definitive msg text, but:

Were there any special setup issues with this (question is only to
someone who has this working)?

Also, if pc was upgraded to Vista with iSeries Access already installed
- that probably does not fit this situation.
