I've forgotten, but what is the function that allows me to have a column put on an existing table or at table creation, wherein the additional column auto-increments when a new row is added to the table thus allowing a unique key to be created. I'm thinking ROWID but whatever it is must survive a reorg and not lose uniqueness.

This is to solve a problem where DataPropagator would prefer to have source tables that have unique indexes or unique keys so unique indexes can be produced for the target table. I'm faced with tables that have NO unique constraints on the source side (Production) so applications can put in duplicate rows, willy-nilly.

I know I could use the RRN capability but that doesn't survive any reorg.

Thanks in advance,
