Specifies whether the device has inquiry messages or informational
messages for recoverable errors. This parameter is not applicable for
printers attached to ASCII work station controllers.

Printer error message (PRTERRMSG) - Help

*SAME
The value does not change.

*INQ
Inquiry messages are sent for recoverable errors.

*INFO
Informational messages are sent for recoverable errors.

Well it was from "way back" and that was required
to get them rolling with
no interruptions. They auto create themselves and I
don't even see that
parameter when I display them (?) When I went looking for
it when it was
mentioned yesterday I didn't see it either...

PRTERRMSG(*INFO)
