A basic rule of thumb is that the newer 10/100/1000 cards/ports do not
support SNA natively. (Including the integrated ethernet ports)

Can anyone tell me which ETH cards do not support SNA?

I have a mix of 2838's, 2849's, and 5706's.

I'm in the process of moving TRN to ETH and will also be eliminating SNA
traffic in the data center. For whatever reason I was thinking of doing
the TRN to ETH conversion first then do the SNA elimination. I'm not
100% sure why at this time.........
