Keep on TL Ashford. We're compliant.
Interesting on MKS. We have a web based sales demo scheduled with the
department this week. This issue may arise... I sure don't want one
solution that doesn't address the reason we're looking at a replacement
for a competitive solution.

Re: 6.1 - READY?
I have been running the ANZOBJCNV program and trying to work with
vendors on resolving issues & it has been quite a challenge.
All of our custom written programs with issues have been recompiled, but
we are still at the mercy of our software vendors before we can even
think about upgrading.
Help Systems has stated that their products are ready, however after
upgrading to the recommended versions, there still are objects that are
not compliant.
The Gauss document management product from Open Text will not be ready
until probably July at the earliest.
Digital Designs - same thing.
TL Ashford has yet to return my call. About all of their programs have
issues.
Infor's Infinium product only has 1 program with issues.
MKS's Implementer 2008 product supposedly was ready for 6.1 however
after the upgrade to 2008 there are 6 programs still with issues.
The Remote View product from Precosis LTD will be discontinued at 6.1
due to the OS restrictions.
How difficult can it be for these vendors to get their programs
compliant?
A lot of vendors are squirming around right now on this.
Thanks.
