Hey Don,

Can you point me to your favorite used dealer for T40's.

I've had mine for the last 4 years and just keep expanding the hard
drive as needed, although I have reached the 160gb limit unless anyone
knows of a 250gb PATA drive option.

Guys,

Don't waste a lot of money buying a new Dell or whatever if you're just
going to install your own linux dialect on it. Goto a good used PC
dealer (
I can turn you onto one or 2 if you don't know any), get a nice used
Thinkpad T4x line (usually less than $350), and load it up and go from
there... The T4x line is a very solid box and I've loaded linux on it
without any problems...nice thing is if you want to take it with you and
learn/play/work wherever you are, you have it...and a heckuva lot
cheaper...
