Are there any settings on the server side for the ODBC access that controls any time-out settings?

My user is getting an error message on some reports (xlat:queries) that says the estimated run time exceeds the limit, which seems to be set somewhere at 60 sec.

The ODBC admin settings for the iSeries DSN seems to only have a checkbox NOT to timeout under performance; advanced. This could be a problem with runaway queries.

Two things you can check in their Registry:

HKLM\Software\ODBC\ODBC.INI\-name of the ODBC connection

One is new to me: QAQQINILibrary. The other is quite old and may not apply any more: QueryTimeout. Set this to 1.
