The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
There was a thread on that this week at systemidotnet@xxxxxxxxxxxx list
(consider posting there instead). It doesn't look like David is archiving
that list yet though...
There's little traffic there now, but I have a feeling it'll grow.
The V6R1 version of the .NET provider will allow you to select it, however
one poster said only with VS2005, not VS2008.
You can of course use earlier version of the provider via Add Reference,
only you can't see it in the VS Server Explorer (it can be pain in the neck
for 3rd party plug-ins [sigh]).

That should get you going I think.

Subject: Crystal Reports 2008 ADO.net data connection
Is it possible to use the ADO.NET and the IBM.Data.DB2.Iseries.dll?
When I tried to use it, it wanted to know the class name, so I picked
IBM.Data.DB2.Iseries.iDB2Connection
But it never allowed me to select the library list of username or password.
Any ideas what I need to do to make this work?
I'm trying to avoid the OLEDB if I can, and strictly stay with the .net data
provider.
Thanks, Tim
