Can you save both libraries and IFS files into one save file using the SAV command? The documentation on SAV looks like you can but then it provides no examples on how you could accomplish it. Actually it spends more time showing you how to OMIT stuff rather than just save a few objects and libraries onto a device.

If you have Library MyLib and folder MyFolder can you save it all into MySaveFile in QGPL (for example)? I tried this:

SAV DEV('/QSYS.LIB/QGPL.LIB/MYSAVEFILE.FILE') OBJ(('/QSYS.LIB/MYLIB.LIB') ('/MyFolder/*'))
I get the error:

Parameters not valid with multiple file systems.

So I am guessing I'll need to savlib the lib to a save file and SAV the IFS folder to another save file. Correct?

Thanks,

Pete
