1 PM (1300 hours) is an unusual time to start cleanup. Every operation
that I've seen schedules it to run during "off" hours; though admittedly
that's only a dozen or so sites. Ours, for example, is scheduled for
2300 hours. Since we're not a 24x7 shop and are usually outta here by
1700, and I don't get in until 0600 (usually the first in the building),
that gives us a little cushion on both ends.
Since I have never tried to run cleanup in the middle of the day, I'll
ask the question(s):
* Would there be any potential problem(s) with running cleanup
during the day?
* If so, what might they be?
o I would, for example, expect there to be an impact on
performance, but have no idea how severe that might be.
o And potential locks or conflicts of any nature?
Thanks.
