WRKDSKSTS is a quick and dirty way of seeing how much space is available in
each AS and IASP. If you have BRMS you can use WRKASPBRM as well (though
it's slower)

WRKSYSSTS should have how much room is left on the system ASP - you might
have to go to disk units in iSeries Navigator (does that have a new name
yet!) which needs a DST user/password - and then you can see free space on
user ASPs and independent ASPs, I think. Have been playing there a bit
lately.

As to how big the contents of the save file is - DSPSAVF will give you sizes
of each object in there - can't get to sa system - there might be summary
information - there is at least an object count. Get out your calculator or
copy/paste into Excel.
