Thanks Scott - that's jogged my memory. I do vaguely remember having to
remove it during the V5R3 upgrade.

It was missing from the QSYSLIBL system value. I have added it back and
all is well. Not sure why it took me so long to notice it was missing!

Thanks
Bob

It's not a big if, it did actually happen. IIRC it was for the duration
of the V5R3 upgrade. I don't remember the specifics, but if you really
want to know the details I would recommend checking the V5R3 memo to
users or the software installation manual.

If, and that's a big IF, there is such a document then it must have only
been for the duration of some specific task.

You don't have QHLPSYS in your library list. Apparently some cover
letter
recently suggested that QHLPSYS should not be in the system library list

(I
have not seen this cover letter, and am not sure why, but that is why
our
515 no longer has QHLPSYS in the system library list)...

Kind of a weird problem here, one that I've never seen. I don't know
when it started, but I no longer get any help text when I press F1 on
system commands. I get the message 'Help information is not
available'.
PDM help is still available - strange.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm running V5R3.

Thanks
