We are currently looking for 'i' based PGP encryption packages that will
allow a command line or API type encryption that can be integrated with
existing programs and transfer procedures. So far i've found the following
packages and have been gathering documentation, brocures, etc. from each
(and have made contact with the vendors):

Patrick Townsend Associates Alliance products
nuBridges
Linoma's Go Anywhere
PGP Corp's PGP Command Line for iSeries

If anyone on the list has any experience with these packages, i'd be
interested in hearing your impressions via email....

We have Townsend's Alliance AS2 and XML products running 24/7 on small 800 in a DMZ. The AS2 transfer protocol uses PGP for encrypting and signing messages (EDI files) that are exchanged with some of our trading partners. The Alliance XML product is used to create and parse the XML files that we exchange. Both products are reliable (3+ years) and would recommend it to anyone looking for a "i" based solution.
