Was that supposed to say "and HMC" versus "and IXS"? Or were they saying
with virtual lan between an IXS and the i lpar you can RMTCMD to vary on
the external lan line? There have been times when I've had to use RMTCMD
when QINTER was down to restart the subsystem on a remote connection.
(Backup blew up.)
