Of course, in the x-ref area, there is also Hawkeye Info Systems - Pathfinder.... Sorry, I have never seen X-analysis or Abstract, so I cannot comment on them...

Arcad and Implementer are both source change management tools- Abstract and X-analysis are cross-reference. I've looked at both. X-analysis has some extra stuff for refactoring things - very powerful drill-down, albeit "interesting" to get used to at first. Abstract is also superb as cross-reference.

Hi Donna,

Sorry, I don't know enough about these but I'd also suggest adding the
tools from Arcad (www.arcadsoftware.com) and MKS (www.mks.com) to your
list. I've heard good things about them. I have no affiliation with
these or any software/tool company.

Hi

Can some one please give recommendations comparing ABSTRACT &
X-ANALYSIS tools on iSeries. What are the merits and demerits using
these tools from your experience.

Thank you

Thanks,

Donna
