The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Is the PARALLEL_DEGREE parameter in file QAQQINI sufficient to control this
problem? This setting may refer to system value QQRYDEGREE depending on
how its set.

Greetings all. I have recently discovered that executing an RPG/SQL
program
causes a job to become multi-threaded. Even when the SQL has finished, the
additional thread(s) remain in the job. This is going to cause us a
problem
with Lansa jobs which cannot be allowed to become multi-threaded, or chaos
death and destruction will ensue.
Does anyone know if the additional thread(s) can be cleaned up? Or any
other way to avoid this problem? We are reluctant to use a SBMJOB to
execute the RPG/SQL outside of the running job.
Thanks in advance for any assistance. See you at COMMON. :)
Steve
