FWiW: The temporary storage is indeed always from the *SYSBAS;
planning for capacity needs to well consider that. However my point in
posting is to clarify that a user-created database file in QTEMP is not
a temporary file, so data copied into such a database file is not part
of the temporary storage. Only the database [query] feature can create
a true temporary database file.
