Take a 515.. create an app that queries 1000 records... now set up a PC to
do the same.

They'll both be pretty fast.

Now do 1000000 records. 515 is still super fast.. PC seems to be having
issue.. ugh! :)

I've seen it many times. Companies set up a PC for web pages, replicate
data, and test with a few records.. works great. Once they replicate their
million+ records to the PC it chokes on queries and doesn't perform anything
like it did when testing.

So now you've introduced 2 weak links... replication (ugh!) and a PC.

Now, as a disclaimer, I am referring to RPG CGI apps on the 515.

performance sucks, the security is not what we are used to, and its just
