I think there is no better way than the System i.

I'm doing almos all the data procesing via web pages, and now expanding
to the Internet.
It was quiete easy to set up a Verisign certificate, so we have a secure conection from the server to the client, and of course, very strong
security inside the server System i.
The weakest link is the client PC.

Speed is excelent, and I haven't even activated the "Fast cache" yet

If you decide to try some application in order to compare, make sure
that the pages from the System i and the other option look identical,
(except for some little logo), otehrwise the "geniuses" will choose the
pretiest one.
