I've found the all eggs in one basket actually gives you a higher level of

reliability. Instead of buying two items, both of lesser quality, etc,
one nice one makes you think 'gee, this one controls so much important
stuff - we ought to purchase one of respectable repute'.

We'd have never purchased Mimix for all of our plants AS/400's. Now that
they are all running on one central system i - we have it.
