AFIK,
The source member in the output log does not get cleared, but appended to.
Are you clearing the output member before each session?

Subject: Copying FTP log to new member - unexpected results

I have a CL job that runs code similar to the following:

OVRDBF FILE(INPUT) TOFILE(TL70MOD/QCLSRC) MBR(FTPTXT)
OVRDBF FILE(OUTPUT) TOFILE(TL70MOD/QCLSRC) MBR(FTPLOG)

FTP RMTSYS(&IP)

I then use CPYF to copy the output log to a new member for achive purposes.
What gets copied is very different from the original log. I'm sure many of
you are using ftp like this. Has anyone ever tried coping the log?

Thanks, Tim
