when I am trying to run wrkqry from the program it takes me to wrkqry screen there I am entering file name and library I don't want this to be
done . Instead this process I want to do by a program.

I would advise you to listen to the people recommending RUNQRY. However if you are bent on writing a program that will emulate a person at the keyboard, you can use Albert York's TNAPI. http://www.ediconsulting.com/EDIdownloads.htm Please understand that this is a very rarely used technique, and probably is NOT what you want.
