Srinivas - This group is for asking questions, for sharing, and those of us who put messages here are usually very generous. The problem is, I think, that your question this time did not have any hint of what you had done first to try to figure out the answer - you just said, "I need this". I hope that you did look around for how to do groups in SQL SELECT statements - I think you have mentioned that there are not many where you work that can help you. But SQL is not an iSeries thing.
I don't know what to say - there is a problem in that several people have lost jobs to outsourcing - you are not the one responsible for that, but it is difficult for some to feel good when a really basic question is asked, especially when the person asking does not say very much - things like, here is what I tried, can you help me with the syntax. No one would object to that - seriously!
