That was meant in jest - though I would say that the portion of the conversation involving you and Trevor has been the most heated.

But if you go back and look, the exchange was short and consisted of Trevor calling me a liar and me defending my assertions. And I don't think I got "heated". I simply pointed out the truth, and moved on. The closest thing to heat was telling Trevor he was becoming a parody of himself because even he can't keep the name straight, and that was actually well-intentioned if somewhat tactless.

I think one of you made the specific post where I got my information, though I was trying to ignore the thread as much as possible. These "name change" threads are kind of like car accidents though ... I just can't help myself rubbernecking a bit :)

Nevertheless, I'm sorry if it came across as harsh. That was not my intention.

See, here's the thing. I'm trying to avoid heated conversations with anyone; they're just not productive. And you'll notice that even though I've stayed out of nearly all the evangelical debates this year, they are still occurring. So you can't attribute these debates to me, and I'd really rather not be associated with the folks who are regularly involved.

Anyway, no biggie. Just trying to turn over a new leaf, is all. And I think I've done pretty well this year <smile>.
