Someone on our staff attempted to setup EIM on our iSeries a few
months back and did not get it to work. We are trying again after
fixing some DNS issues that we think caused the problems but
somewhere along the way in the first config the password to the EIM
directory was lost. Is there a way to delete the existing directory
and start all over? I tried using the Navigator right-click delete
option but it never completed and did not delete the directory.

In iSeries Navigator, --> My Connections --> Network --> Enterprise
Identity Mappaing --> Configuration. Right click on Configuration and
select Reconfigure. You can rerun the setup for EIM. Depending on how
much you keep of the original configuration, any mappings may (or may not)
be kept. You will have the chance to pick a new password.
