Jeff--

We're using MetaFile.

We started with them back in 1999 with what I believe was their original product. At the time we had them come in for a demo. They wanted a PC with IBM's client access installed. They came in, and the demo guy took about 1/2 hour to load the software on the PC, then asked for the name of an output queue on the 400 that we wanted to use for the download test.

We stuffed some files in the queue, he started the program, and it worked. First time. No poking. No tweaking. No hammering. It worked!

We were so amazed that we didn't look at any other products. To have an application actually do what it said was amazing!

More recently we had to upgrade to their alternate data base because we filled up their original! Not the application's problem, but we're cramming a LOT (1500/day) of documents into the poor thing.

So we've just installed their latest Enterprise edition. It's too new to know if we'll have any problems, but the download of spooled files to the application seems to run as smoothly as before (it might be the same program for all we know).
