Barry

There was just such a thread here a couple weeks ago. Search the midrange.com archives for QHST - I gave references there to the documentation on what to look for - especially the CPF1164 message. That one has lots of performance data you never see in the DSPLOG output.

The QHST files can be kind of tricky - you canNOT depend on the file names to be in order by date and time by sorting on the file name - you have to use the text description, which contains the range of entries in that particular iteration of the QHST* files.

Also, each message occupies I think 3 records in the file - essentially they wrap, so you get to concatenate stuff.

The job start message is CPF1124, job end is CPF1164.

Search the archives - maybe even my name (hamberg) along with QHST - to get those pointers to the docs.

Good luck
Vern

Hi folks,

I am trying to write either a query or CL that will basically allow me to
pull Job names,
start and end times from QHST. I want to then export these values to an
Excel spreadsheet
or possibly a Lotus Notes Database.

What do you think is the best way to approach this?. Would be grateful for
any info.

Regards,
Barry O'C.
