Sorry, have not used it. We use Hyperion (now Oracle) Essbase for OLAP
needs, but learned about it from others during training.

Free / donateware. Not sure on Crystal capability, but Crystal can read
excel spreadsheets.

By the way, is anybody aware of a cheap (free if possible :) ) way to
generate OLAP cubes that can be used in Crystal Reports or other

Not on an AS/400, but the DB2 for i5/OS SQL on v6r1 documents both
keywords in the SQL Reference for the /group-by-clause/ under the
