Once I have a monitor started, it normally stays running. I do have to
check the performance monitors on our two busiest systems, since they
tend
to shut down every couple of days. I don't know how to autostart them, or

check their status and restart. The monitors on less busy systems seem to

run continuously for a month or longer without attention.

Just an update to this. Since we put the last cume package on (C7303xxxx
on V5R3) the monitors on our busiest systems have been much more stabile.
I've now gone a week or more without having to restart the monitors.
