Then it's a simple matter of RMVJRNCHG or a restore and APYJRNCHG.
If not, there's some UNDEL or UNDEL2 commands that are out there on the
internet. Some have an end of life at V6R1. Most of these tricks are
based on the premise that either you caught this right away or do not have
'Reuse deleted records' turned on. Another reason that journalling is the
better solution.
If you purchased some data maintenance utility, like DBU, these often have
an UNDEL function available.
There's another trick that involves saving to a save file, opening up the
save file as a file and do some gyrations on that.
