I tested it and after installing a LOT of ptfs it's working fine (the server part) next step is the client side...
About informations you can start with IBM System I Overview (REDP-5052-00) it's only introduction but at least you get the prerequisite.
Some help is also in the admin console, click on the ? and you'll get some help (not very detailed but better than nothing).

Hi Guys, I recently read from an IBM publication about Web Services server native facilities. The info said that it will be available on December 21 integrates into i5/OS with PTFs for 5722-SS1. The link is

My question is: Is there any of you guys try it This? How can we find more information about it? My intention is to publish web service without using Websphere Application Server. We have V5R4 OS version.
